Korriban's Flame Station

Korriban's Flame Station: The Hunt for Jomar Chul

The ancient, desolate world of Korriban has long been a place steeped in darkness—a world where the Sith once ruled and where their legacy still lingers, tainting the air with the shadow of their power. The Sith Lords' tombs line the surface, hidden beneath the sands of time, but a more recent development on the planet has turned heads across the galaxy. A mysterious station, known only as Korriban's Flame, has emerged on the outskirts of the system. Its purpose is unknown, but rumors are rife, whispering of an alliance between powerful Sith Lords, some of whom have long been thought dead.

Jomar Chul’s Infiltration

Jomar Chul, a dedicated Jedi Knight with a reputation for his fearless approach to diplomacy and investigation, had been tasked with investigating the rumors surrounding Korriban's Flame. His mission was clear: infiltrate the station, gather intelligence on the gathering of Sith Lords, and if possible, uncover any clues related to the Emperor’s long-rumored plans. The stakes were higher than ever, with whispers growing of a plan that could obliterate all life in the galaxy—a plan that could turn the Force itself against all living things.

The Force was with Jomar, but Korriban’s Flame was a place of unimaginable danger. The station, floating ominously near the heart of Korriban’s orbital zone, was heavily fortified and surrounded by a constant storm of Sith-controlled fighters. The security measures were unlike anything the Jedi had encountered before, as if the very structure of the station had been constructed with dark energy.

Jomar’s investigation began with quiet observation from a distance. Using his skills in stealth and his mastery of the Force, he had infiltrated the outer defenses, cloaking his presence from the station’s advanced sensors. His plan was to approach the station under the radar and gather information without alarming the Sith Lords.

But something had gone wrong.

Korriban's Flame: The Heart of Darkness

The station loomed larger as Jomar made his approach. It was unlike anything he had seen before—an enormous structure that seemed to pulse with energy, as though it were alive. The station's spires seemed to reach into the void, their dark surfaces absorbing the light from nearby stars, creating an oppressive, suffocating atmosphere.

Jomar had been briefed on the potential dangers of this mission, but nothing could have prepared him for what he found within the heart of Korriban’s Flame.

It wasn’t just a gathering of Sith Lords; it was something much darker. The rumors had been true—several of the most powerful Sith were indeed present, but they were not alone. The Emperor’s elite agents, warriors who operated in the shadows, had also gathered at the Flame.

The meeting was unlike anything Jomar had anticipated. Sith Lords gathered around a holographic table, their discussions deep and arcane. It was clear that they were forging some sort of alliance, but what truly captured Jomar's attention was the mysterious centerpiece of the room—a device unlike anything he had ever seen before.

It pulsed with dark energy, thrumming in time with the beats of Jomar’s own heart. The Sith Lords spoke in low, urgent voices, their words incomprehensible to Jomar’s strained hearing. But one phrase echoed across the room, striking Jomar with the weight of dread:

"The galaxy will burn."

In that moment, Jomar realized that this was no ordinary Sith gathering. The Emperor’s plan was coming to fruition, and it was far more sinister than anyone had imagined.

The device, he learned, was the key to a devastating weapon—a superweapon designed to channel the energy of the Dark Side of the Force on a galaxy-wide scale. The very energy of the Force itself could be turned into a destructive weapon, one that could annihilate entire star systems with a single command.

The Capture: A Daring Escape Attempt

Jomar had learned all he could in that brief time, but before he could leave the station, his presence was detected. The Sith, ever attuned to disturbances in the Force, had sensed his intrusion. A wave of dark energy swept through the station, and Jomar felt the grip of the Force tightening around him.

He fought back, using his mastery of the lightsaber and the Force to defend himself, but the numbers were too great. The Sith Lords were relentless, and they overwhelmed him with sheer force. Before he could escape, Jomar was captured.

He was dragged into the heart of the station, where he was held prisoner, his fate uncertain. The Sith, aware of the Jedi’s persistence, decided to use him as bait—a potential weakness in the Jedi's resolve. They would use him to draw out the Republic’s forces, knowing that Jomar’s disappearance would send ripples of uncertainty throughout the galaxy.

Jomar’s disappearance was swift, but the whispers of the meeting continued to spread. Even now, Jedi across the galaxy are searching for him, hoping that he can be rescued before the Sith implement their dark plan.

The Emperor’s Plan

As the Sith Lords’ plans slowly began to unfold, it became apparent that the stakes had grown even higher. The Emperor, long shrouded in mystery, was at the center of this chaos. While he had remained largely a shadowy figure, manipulating events from behind the scenes, his role in the creation of Korriban’s Flame was now undeniable.

What had begun as a conspiracy among Sith Lords had now become something far more terrifying. The Flame was not merely a gathering place for dark rituals or political alliances; it was a weapon—an ancient and devastating tool of power forged in the depths of the Sith’s darkest practices.

The device within Korriban’s Flame could channel the dark side energy of the Force in unimaginable ways, and the Emperor was determined to use it to wipe out all life in the galaxy, starting with the Jedi Order.

The Search for Jomar

Back at the Jedi Temple, news of Jomar Chul’s disappearance has left the Jedi Council in turmoil. The once calm and composed Order is now scrambling to prepare for a threat unlike any they have faced before. While some Jedi believe that Jomar may still be alive, others fear the worst—that he has fallen victim to the Emperor’s forces, his knowledge of the Sith weapon lost forever.

A daring rescue mission is mounted, led by a group of elite Jedi who will infiltrate Korriban’s Flame and retrieve Jomar before the Sith can finish their work. But time is running out.

The question remains: will they be able to stop the Emperor’s dark plan before it is too late? Or will Korriban’s Flame become the fire that consumes the galaxy?

Conclusion: The Flame Beckons

The mystery surrounding Korriban’s Flame and the Emperor’s plans have only just begun to unravel. Jomar’s disappearance marks the beginning of a larger struggle—a battle against a weapon unlike anything the galaxy has ever seen. As the Force trembles with dark energy, the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance.

The Flame beckons, and the Jedi must act swiftly—before the darkness consumes all that they hold dear.

Acting on rumors that several important Sith Lords were gathering at Korriban's Flame, Jedi Knight Jomar Chul tried to infiltrate the heavily fortified station, only to be captured.  Jomar disappeared, but if the rumors are true, the meeting on the station could offer some clue to the Emperor's plan to wipe out all life in the galaxy.

Ilum

The mountainous ice planet Ilum is home to one of the Jedi Order's most distant outposts. Nestled between snow-covered crags is an enclave used by the Jedi for generations, a shelter from the cold and a launching point for journeys into Ilum's exotic crystal caves. These caves produce some of the most rare and powerful lightsaber crystals in the galaxy.

Ilum hosts no indigenous population, although a number of larger animals survive in its environment. Its temperatures fail to reach the extremes of Hoth, but it has never been a target for colonization or occupation.

Lord Scourge

Lord Scourge (Knight)

As the Sith Emperor’s personal executioner, the grimly fatalistic Lord Scourge has personally killed more than a hundred Jedi–and ten times as many Sith. Even the most powerful members of the Dark Council avoid offending the man bearing the title “the Emperor’s Wrath.” Lord Scourge has dutifully served the Empire for over three hundred years, his life unnaturally prolonged by perverse technology and his master’s dark side powers. Centuries spent watching his fellow Sith Lords rise and fall has given Lord Scourge a unique perspective on people. He can analyze someone’s flaws after only brief observation, and freely shares his perceptions (whether they’re wanted or not).

Likes: Using power against the weak, power, anger, revenge and spite
Dislikes: Greed, acts of mercy, Jedi and Republic authorities

Primary Stat: Strength
Secondary Stat: Endurance Primary

Darth Malgus

Darth Malgus has long been a paradox to his fellow Sith: a staunch proponent of the Empire’s superiority who also questions some of its oldest values. Born under the name “Veradun” in the years before the Empire’s return, Malgus distinguished himself during the war as a warrior and general. He was eventually entrusted with securing the Empire’s interests on distant worlds, where he encountered the soldiers of many alien cultures and found them worthy of respect.

As Malgus grew in prominence, fighting at the Battle of Alderaan and later during the Sacking of Coruscant, his travels and alliances with aliens–including a relationship with his Twi’lek slave– marked him as an unorthodox figure. Caring nothing for the power plays common to Sith, Darth Malgus has spent the last few years strengthening his ties to alien groups. He has often claimed that the Empire’s ancient prejudices against aliens and constant infighting are weaknesses; to be victorious, Malgus says, the Empire must change.

Sergeant Fideltin Rusk

Sergeant Fideltin Rusk (Knight)

Raised by a colony of pacifist Chagrians, Rusk rebelled against his family's beliefs and enlisted with the Republic military as soon as he could. At first, he proved to be a brilliant soldier and was identified as a rising star in the Republic's ranks. Somewhere along the way, however, his bravery crossed the line into recklessness.

Although he still accomplished his missions, casualty rates among his squad rose astronomically. Rusk quickly became a pariah among other soldiers, including his superiors. His aggressive pursuit of victory over the Empire at any cost has earned him many medals from politicians, but no promotions from his commanders.

Likes: Killing Imperials, protecting the Republic, motivating others to fight
Dislikes: Avoiding fights, weakness, disrespecting authority

Primary Weapon: Blaster Cannon
